Hey, mamas! Welcome back to the Business Minded Mama Podcast! Join me as I dive into the nitty-gritty of this podcast, and my hopes that it will empower women like YOU! When I decided to start this podcast, I knew I wanted to serve empowered women in the best ways I could, so I shaped my podcast around three main ideas:
1. Productive Motherhood
2. Business
3. Community
I am always learning and growing in all of these areas, but I hope that through my experiences, I can empower women and help them through their own journeys in all of these areas. Women who are empowered to chase their dreams are unstoppable, which is what drives me to help my community of mamas.
So, to all those mamas listening in just know that you CAN, and you WILL! And I’m here to help you every step of the way.
xo,
Stephanie
Hey there, welcome to episode three, where I hope to just break down this podcast in to three main categories. Now, these categories that I’ve determined are going to be the driver for what I talk about on this podcast. I’m going to start with probably the least obvious category and it’s productive motherhood. I am still learning how to be productive. I am still learning how to make the most of my time, and I have a long way to go. But what I want to do is talk about the things that haven’t worked, the things that I know I should work on, but maybe I don’t. I also have some great resources and I’ve met some friends along the way that have great insights. And I hope that maybe I could even bring them in as guests to give you some of their expertise. I ,in no way, think that I have this figured out, I want to learn and grow with you and we will figure this out together. So let me reiterate this one more time. I am right there on the hot mess express with you, but we got this and we will get it figured out second business.
Obviously you guys have figured out by now, but I am here to talk small business. I want to help you start your dream business. I want to help you grow. I want to give you the tips and tools that I’ve learned along the way. I want to just feed with any knowledge that I have during my 10 or so years of running my own small business, I have learned a lot and I’ve done it as a transplant and in new communities. I’ve done it where I have minimal work and when I’ve had lots of work. I’ve done it while my husband has traveled. While I’ve had busy kids and their activities and I want to work through all the things I’ve been able to do that have helped me along the way.
I’ve also used Facebook and Instagram and various other resources and applications. And I want to teach you about those. I want to give you some skills that will help you grow in your business. And I’m going to learn more because there’s always something more to learn in business. So I am here with you learning as well. Let’s also not forget that I’m an accountant who stepped into the influencer world, which some found very odd, but it’s really given me great perspective into various industries and entities and businesses, and made me step out of my comfort zone in my own business. And here I am on a podcast, there are endless opportunities, ways you can grow your business and your community and I hope we can do that together.
That leads me to my third and final main category community. I know in the short time, you’ve already heard that word many times, and that is because I am super passionate about it. And not only when it comes to business, but motherhood, I have lived in places where I know no one and I need socialization. I need friendships. I do not function or thrive without them and so I have done so we need different things to grow my community in these various cities that I have lived. And I want to share them with you and I am hoping it helps you in your journey of motherhood to feel less lonely. I also hope it helps you in the business world to grow your business. I truly believe that if you have a solid community, that your business will grow and it will grow easier than it would without that community, they will be your advocates.
They will help you move forward. You will probably hear it more than once. In fact, I can promise you that you will hear it more than once that community is so important. And I hope that we can build one here together, but also I can help you figure out how to find that community locally or nationally, if that is what your business requires. These three categories will be the main topics of discussion here on this podcast. But that’s not to say that I won’t come to you one day with something that is on my heart or my soul that is completely out of left field. This podcast is going to be a place where we can grow as mamas and grow as business owners and grow ourselves. So whatever comes here in the future, I’m going to accept it with open arms. And I hope you will too, as always thank you so much for tuning in and I can’t wait until next time.
