If you have kids, you have probably noticed recently that most kids don’t open the gifts at the birthday party. This has become a great topic of debate in our house. I personally am fine with whatever the kids want but my husband gets a little annoyed of it. I do understand his annoyance as it is usually chaos with other kids ripping through the presents, cards being shuffled, and toys not being properly accounted for but the kids love it. I mean they really love it. They find joy in giving a gift to their friend and I almost wonder if by taking that away, are they losing sight on the act of giving. I plan to continue on letting my kids decide but would love to know if any of you have a strong opinion on it. Let me know in the comments below!
